Some aspects of Philosophy, from the 6th century B.C. to the present day
Philosophy is the basis of all thoughts, be they scientific or purely contemplative: no field of knowledge can ignore it, even the roots of the so-called “exact” sciences can be found in philosophy. […] If sciences – including mathematics, physics, political science, psychology, sociology – have made tremendous progress, they also owe this to the first thinkers. However, this book entitled ‘Some aspects of Philosophy’, only deals with history of philosophy, in other words the various stages that it went through over time, whose aim is to interpret the realities that surrounds us, and to raise them into scientific truths on the basis of Logic and various concepts. In this regard, those few aspects of philosophy form the prolegomena to an introduction to philosophy, which may be considered as the very basis of universal knowledge.
